2010 Secondary Stroke Prevention Update
Guidelines for the Prevention of Stroke in Patients with Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA)
Persons who have had a previous stroke or TIA are at increased risk of a subsequent event.
Of the 795,000 that occur each year, about 185,000 are recurrent strokes.
