These studies amaze me. It is sad to see just how the people in the U.S. are much more affected by all of these heart diseases compared to other countries. It makes me think that the much of this is occurring because much of the U.S. tends to be more overweight than the rest of the world. This overweight leads to many other diseases like high blood pressure. Can you believe that high blood pressure costs the U.S. 76.6 billion dollars in health care, medications, and missed days of work. I found that information from an informative graphic that talks about high blood pressure.
