Early Career Events You Do Not Want To Miss

If you are at the early stage of your career, there are certainly some special events for members just like you at the Scientific Sessions this year.

1. Saturday Nov 16 is the Early Career Day. Do not miss the opportunities to learn from wonderful programs and enjoy networking with your peers.

2. Come to the ATVB early career investigator award competition on Sunday Nov 17 3:45PM-5PM in Room C140, to support your colleagues, or to know the great work done by your peers. You might want to submit an application next year.

3. Do not miss networking luncheon and receptions. It will be an invaluable opportunity for you to have some informal interactions with leading experts in your field.

Hanrui Zhang PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow, Cardiovascular Institute, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Hanrui received her PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Missouri.  Her research focuses on stem cell biology, human functional genomics, cardiovascular physiology, adipose biology, and the mechanisms of cardiometabolic diseases.  Hanrui is a member of the ATVB Early Career Committee and the liaison to the Women’s Leadership Committee.
